UNDERSTANDING CBD PRODUCTS 🌿😀

What is CBD?

CBD is a naturally occurring compound found primarily in the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant. It is a non-intoxicating phytocannabinoid that offers a wide range of benefits. CBD is just one of dozens of phytocannabinoids and other phytochemicals found in hemp plants.

What is CBD Oil?

CBD oil is derived from hemp plants that have high levels of cannabidiol (CBD) and low levels of THC. At HerbMagix our CBD oils always have less than 0.3% THC. CBD content can vary tremendously across different vendors due to the varying quality of hemp that's used, as well as varying preparation and extraction techniques. HerbMagix produces some of the finest quality CBD oil on the market, extracted from healthy, cannabinoid-rich hemp plants grown right here in the USA.

Will CBD get me high?

No! While marijuana does contain CBD, it’s the THC that gives that kind of cannabis its psychoactive kick. Because it has such a negligible amount of THC, consuming – even smoking – industrial hemp won’t get you high. In fact, CBD can actually inhibit the impact of THC.

There is no intoxicating effect from taking our products. We test our products to confirm the absence of THC.

Is CBD addictive?

No. According to a 2017 report by the World Health Organization, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential. ... To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”

Why use CBD Oil?

People use CBD oil to support their overall well-being in many ways. Some may need help with really specific issues; others are supporting their overall well-being. Honestly, we learn a ton about how and why people use CBD oil from our customers.

You can do your own research online to see what challenges people are saying CBD oil helps them, their parents, their children or even their pets overcome. This is what it’s all about for us! We love reading positive stories about the impact our products have on people’s everyday lives. We get them from veterans, first responders, office workers, athletes, seniors, parents, and everybody else.

How does CBD work?

CDB interacts with what is called the endocannabinoid system within our bodies. This system can impact our mood, memory, appetite, perception of pain, and more, and it is impacted by substances both produced inside our bodies and outside them (such as CBD and THC). THC fits snugly into certain cannabinoid receptors, causing the brain to release dopamine, which causes a high. CBD molecules also fit into the same receptors, but not in the same way as THC. This causes particular chemical reactions in the body, but not a THC-driven high.

What is the minimum age to buy and use CBD products?

The age limit for legal acquisition from our website is 18 years.

Are HerbMagix CBD products tested?

We believe in 100% transparency with our Customers and Affiliates. Every batch of CBD product we produce gets sent out for third-party testing before we pick, pack, and ship product to the user. This is the HerbMagix commitment to you. You can count on our products each and every time. Click here to view tests for CBD currently in use in our products.

Will I fail a drug test if I use your CBD products?

No! Our THC-free hemp extract is derived from the cannabis sativa L. hemp plant. This product will not get you high or cause you to fail a THC drug test. By law, no product can contain more than 0.3% THC, a negligible trace amount. There is no intoxicating effect from taking our products. We test our products to confirm the absence of THC; however, sensitivities of drug testing methodologies may vary.

How are your products manufactured?

Our hemp is grown and harvested organically in the US. Our extracts are done using solvent-free CO2 extraction; in other words, the CO2 from the air we breathe is used to extract the CBD and other beneficial molecules.

Which concentration of CBD should I choose?

Most new customers start out with a 450 mg or 700 mg concentration, and then increase dosage as needed over time.

We recommend everyone starting out with CBD oils for the first time to start with a low dosage for at least the first 7 days and then monitor the reaction of the body and mind, before increasing the dosage.

Does CBD come from marijuana plants?

Not really. CBD is derived from what is known as industrial hemp, which is a relative of marijuana. Scientifically speaking, both industrial hemp and marijuana are classified as strains of cannabis sativa. While the two kinds of cannabis may look similar – tall, green, and with easily recognizable long-lobed leaves – chemically they are very different. Industrial hemp contains a lot of CBD but very little THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the active ingredient in recreational and medical marijuana.

What is the difference between Hemp and Marijuana?

Marijuana and hemp are two varieties of the same plant species: Cannabis sativa. Hemp has been bred to have very low levels of THC (0.3% or less) and high levels of CBD. Marijuana has been bred to have higher levels of THC.
